West Rounton is a close knit friendly Village located in North Yorkshire on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors. The village has approximately 100 inhabitants of varying age groups of which some families have been 'local' for several generations. We are home to two pubs The Horse Shoe Inn and The Grey Horse, all though at present only The Grey Horse Inn is currently still open.

West Rounton busy farming village surrounded by several farms specialising in organic dairy produce (Stamfrey Farm) and Sheep farming. There are several local business's Whitegates Nursery who provide everything for your gardening needs, and Roots Farmshop offering a local outlet for the fantastic local produce and an excellent cafe.
